About

The framework, and the lab built to explore it.

PRQT Labs brings five decades of theoretical physics and engineering together with modern product, software and AI practice — so scientists, engineers and technology teams can understand the PRQT framework, test ideas against it, and explore where it may lead.

§ A.1The founders

Two founders, two halves of the work.

John
The theory, the physics and the scientific program — and decades of engineering, simulation and applied technical work.
Chris
The product, the platform, AI, software and commercialization — the modern layer through which people reach the work.

§ A.2Co-Founder

Dr. John R.
Fanchi

Dr. John R. Fanchi has developed Parametrized Relativistic Quantum Theory for nearly five decades — and has spent the same decades working on applied technical problems.

Theoretical physicsEngineeringNumerical simulationEnergy technologyIndustrySoftwareTeachingApplied technical problems

The physics begins with his 1977 Ph.D. dissertation at the University of Houston and continues, through his work as an independent research physicist, across generalized quantum field theory, many-body systems, historical time, statistical mechanics, cosmology, neutrino oscillations, nonlocality, particle decay and curved spacetime. He co-founded the International Association for Relativistic Dynamics, served as its President from 1998 to 2006, and organized the first international conference on parametrized relativistic quantum theory, held in Houston in 1998.

His career has never been purely academic. Alongside the physics he has worked in industry research and engineering — including fourteen years at Marathon Oil Company and later as a reservoir simulation consultant with Chevron Energy Technology Company — and as a professor of engineering at the Colorado School of Mines and Texas Christian University. Much of that work is computational: numerical simulation, reservoir modeling, energy systems, CO₂ sequestration and engineering software, along with technical consulting and technology transfer.

The physics is active. Recent papers carry PRQT into curved spacetime, parametrized quantum field theory and quantum-gravity applications in expanding-universe metrics. That combination — theory, engineering, simulation, industry and teaching — is why PRQT Labs sits naturally where physics meets technology.

Chris
Fanchi

Chris Fanchi is a product and technology builder whose background spans SaaS, digital products, AI-assisted software development, growth and entrepreneurship.

He has worked in product and marketing across software and SaaS — including leadership around a low-code backend software platform — and has built and launched digital products and startup concepts. His work is hands-on: AI-assisted product and software delivery, and translating technical products into positioning people can understand. He is the author of Managing AI.

At PRQT Labs, Chris leads product strategy, Paraqyt platform development, AI workflows, software and product orchestration, user experience, business strategy and commercialization — turning the PRQT research program into Paraqyt and tools that scientists, engineers and technology teams can use to understand the framework, test ideas against it and explore potential applications.

§ A.4The lab

Why PRQT Labs exists.

A body of work this large is hard to enter, and harder still to use. Its ideas are spread across decades of papers, books and current manuscripts, and their connections — and implications — are rarely visible from any one of them.

PRQT Labs exists to change that: to preserve and organize the PRQT body of work with its provenance; to make it understandable and interrogable; to let people test interpretations and new ideas against it; to connect current work to its earlier foundations; and to support both scientific investigation and technical, application-oriented exploration. Modern AI is how a difficult body of theory becomes practically accessible — used as a tool, with the sources kept in view.

PRQT Labs does not adjudicate in advance whether PRQT is correct. It builds better tools for examining what the theory says, testing its implications and exploring where it may lead.

  1. i.

    The framework is the foundation.

Technology expands what people can do with it. It does not replace the theory or the sources.

  2. ii.

    Sources over summaries.

Every PRQT-specific answer should lead back to a work you can read.

  3. iii.

    The theory is a constraint.

Ideas and applications are explored from the framework outward, not retrofitted to it.

  4. iv.

    Scrutiny is welcome.

Ideas should be examinable on their arguments, mathematical structure, predictions and contact with evidence.

PRQT Labs is owned and operated by Fanchi Enterprises.
